2 cups fresh cranberries
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
1 cup beef broth
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

Trim fat cap to 1/4 inch thick
Combine brown sugar, garlic powder, and smoked paprika to create a dry rub
Coat brisket evenly with the rub and massage into the meat
Place brisket in the slow cooker fat-side up
Scatter cranberries around the sides of the brisket
Add beef broth to the slow cooker
Cook on low heat for 8 hours
Remove cinnamon sticks after cooking
