These 15-minute air fryer fish tacos are the ultimate weeknight solution for a healthy, vibrant, and delicious meal. By utilizing the power of air circulation, the white fish fillets develop a perfect golden crust while remaining tender and flaky inside. Paired with a zesty, crunchy cilantro lime slaw, these tacos provide a complex flavor profile without the need for heavy oil, making them a perfect, guilt-free Mexican-inspired dinner for the entire family.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or mahi-mahi)
2 Tbsp taco seasoning (low-sodium preferred)
2 cups shredded green or purple cabbage
3 Tbsp fresh lime juice
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
8 small corn tortillas
Pinch of salt

Instructions

Combine shredded cabbage, fresh lime juice, chopped cilantro, and a pinch of salt in a bowl, tossing well
Place the slaw in the refrigerator to marinate while preparing the fish
Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and coat evenly with taco seasoning
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for three minutes
Arrange the fish fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket
Cook for 8 to 10 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily
Warm the corn tortillas on the stovetop or in the microwave
Break the cooked fish into chunks and assemble tacos by topping tortillas with fish and the prepared slaw

Notes

Ensure you do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to allow air to circulate properly for the best texture. You may add avocado slices or a dash of hot sauce if desired for extra heat.
